I Build Websites
With People in MindI’m Matthew De Nero, the web developer behind ByDeNero. I build and rebuild websites for businesses that need a cleaner, faster, more manageable digital foundation.
My background in business, client service, and web development shapes how I work. I care about how a site looks, how it performs, how easy it is to update, and whether it actually supports the people using it.
The Path to ByDeNero
My Journey
2010
Business & Communication Foundation
I started with business and communication, not code. That foundation still matters because a good website has to connect with real people, explain the right message, and support the business behind it.
2010 – 2021
Client Experience First
Before I became a web developer, I spent years in sales, business development, and client-facing work. That taught me how people actually think, what makes projects confusing, and why clear communication matters.
2022
Rebuilding Around Code
I decided to rebuild my career around web development and started hands-on training in Python, front-end development, and JavaScript. This was the year things started clicking into place.
2023
Learning Larger Systems
At GE, I got a look inside bigger technical systems: data tools, APIs, Python scripts, cloud environments, and real internal workflows. It helped me understand how structure affects everything downstream.
2024
Building Client Websites
I started building and improving real client websites as a contract developer. This is where WordPress, custom fields, reusable blocks, performance, accessibility, and client-friendly editing became a major part of how I work.
2026
ByDeNero Takes Shape
ByDeNero brings the whole path together: business experience, client communication, technical skill, and a people-first way of building. I don’t start with tools. I start with what the website needs to do for the people using it.
My Values
What ByDenero Stands For
CORE PHILOSOPHY: I don’t build websites around technology. I build websites around people. The technology is simply the tool chosen to support the experience.
